Architectural Robotics Lab

Located in the Communications Building.

Access if only available to those students taking a robotics related course.

The Architectural Robotics Lab (ARL) explores the emergent field of research, design, and construction utilizing robotic technology.  The ARL is an outpost of the ISU Computation & Construction Lab (CCL) an initiative of the ISU Department of Architecture that works to connect developments in computation to the challenges of construction through teaching, research, publication, and exhibition. A primary tenet of this work is the democratization of access to and knowledge about technology in architecture, specifically creating opportunities for our students to learn and create with technology.

The ARL, CCL, and Department of Architecture are housed in the ISU  College of Design one of the most comprehensive design colleges in the country: home to seven departments, fostering opportunities for unique multidisciplinary collaborations.
